Welcome to LocaVore

Experience Deliciousness with a Conscience

At LocaVore we believe food is a powerful force for good. We use food to build relationships, educate people about where their food comes from, and promote a more sustainable food system. We achieve this through food demonstrations, community dinners, and local food events with a focus on reducing food waste and using seasonally available local produce and meats from farmers and ranchers in the Pacific Northwest.

Why Being a LocaVore can have a positive ripple effect on the local community

Supporting Local Economy

Purchasing local goods helps support farmers and businesses. This contributes to the economic well-being of the community.

Sustainable and low-waste cooking

Being a LocaVore is about being aware. Learn to use ALL parts of the veggies and cut down your waste. Use ingredients you find in nature.

Eating Healthy is Good for You

Before supermarkets, people bought fresh, local, seasonal food from farmers. Our bodies are made to eat regionally procured foods!

Being a LocaVore is part of the solution for our community’s food sustainability!
