Meet Chef Cynthia Monroe, LocaVore’s fearless leader. They’re known to their high school culinary students at NEWTech Prep as Chef C, and in the community as The LocaVore Chef.

Cynthia graduated from Inland Northwest Culinary Academy in 2014 and is a Certified Executive Chef. They are the current President of our local American Culinary Federation Chapter and full time all-around culinary badass.

Chef Cynthia brings the community together at farmer’s markets, libraries, and other gathering places where they prepare locally grown foods like mushrooms and lentils using sustainable, low-waste practices for people to learn and enjoy.
